About Dr. Li Hong Fen

Dr Li graduated from the He Bei Medical University in China in 1975. Her MD postgraduate education was gained at the Beijing Xie He Medical University where she studied from 1980 to 1983. For three years,1984-1987, she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine college. Between 1988 and 1991 Dr Li studied for a Master of Science degree in a course which combined traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.


From 1975 to 1987, Dr Li also lectured and a doctor in internal medicine in the oncology department of He Bei Medical College and for 5 years worked as a doctor in the emergency department of Beijing Xie He hospital. Her work during this period gained her the position of research fellow and Professor of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine.


Her professional medical work in China has involved Dr Li as a deputy research fellow of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine at Xi Yuan Hospital, while teaching at the  Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.


When Dr Li ended her formal education, she was qualified in two areas of research and treatment, cancer and asthma. From 1996 she worked at the integration of Western medicine and Chinese medicine in both these areas, setting up with others, inside China and outside, three research centres.

Dr Li’s work in China, Israel and the UK is supported by different international teams of doctors and financed in China by the Chinese Ministry of Health, and in Israel, by the Israeli Ministry of Health. As well as grants from these two governments, they are funded by private sources across the world.

The clinic staff provides services in English Hebrew and Chinese.
